Known issues and limitations

General issues
Slow scene loading: Opening or switching designs can sometimes take longer than expected.
Device and browser: Some devices and browsers are not yet supported for the Arkio web version. On this page, you can find which combinations have been tested.
Moving connected objects: Connected parts may not move or reshape together. Select the whole assembly when moving a complete structure.
AI issues
AI requests can be delayed or interrupted. Temporary service failures can trigger automatic retries. Check the status message before sending the same request again.
Stopping the AI: Stopping a request keeps changes already made, so your design may be partially updated.
AI usage requires available credits. New AI requests pause when your allowance runs out or your login expires. The prepared guided tutorial does not consume AI credits.
Collaboration limitations
Live collaboration limitations: Working together in the same scene with multiple users and AI agents is still being worked on. You may encounter synchronization issues or conflicting edits. Coordinate changes with other participants and avoid editing the same part of the model at the same time.
Meeting voice has browser limitations. Safari is not currently supported for meeting audio. This limitation concerns voice between participants.
Import export limitations
Limited import size: models up to 200 MB can be uploaded and placed in the Arkio scene. To load larger models into Arkio web, you have to prepare the models in Arkio 2.3 and share them with the web version using an Arkio cloud link code.
Limited exports: Some imported models cannot be exported from the browser. Exports are currently limited to 256 MB.
Basic IFC support: IFC exports include Arkio geometry, but exclude imported models, furniture, maps and sketches.
Material differences: Exported colors and textures may look different from those in Arkio.
Tutorial
More tutorials and samples are coming: The main agentic tutorial is available now. The editing tutorial is still in development.
Tutorial transitions replace edits. Advancing between prepared scenes or going back can replace changes you made and reset Undo history. Use a separate scene for your own design work.
